Delete Your Account

1. How to request deletion

Email [email protected] from the address your account is registered to, with the subject Delete my account.

Sending it from your registered address is how we confirm the request is really yours. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, write to us anyway and we will verify your identity another way before deleting anything.

You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to be able to sign in.

2. What happens next

• We acknowledge your request within 2 working days.
• There is a 7 day pause before anything is deleted, so an account cannot be destroyed by a request you did not mean to send. Tell us to stop at any point during those 7 days and nothing happens.
• Deletion completes within 30 days of the request.
• We email you to confirm once it is done.

3. What is deleted

• Your profile: name, username, email address, phone number and password.
• Portfolio holdings, manual entries and any connected exchange keys.
• Identity documents and photographs you uploaded for verification.
• Payment methods you saved, such as UPI handles and bank references.
• Competition entries, virtual trading history and leaderboard positions.
• Posts, comments and messages you wrote in the community.
• Push notification registrations, so the app stops contacting your devices.
• Your Telegram link, if you have one.

4. What we have to keep, and for how long

A few records cannot simply be erased, because the law requires us to hold them or because they belong to somebody else as much as to you. Where we keep something, we remove your name and contact details from it wherever we can.

• Payment and tax records for subscriptions you bought, kept as long as Indian tax law requires.
• Identity verification records, where anti-money-laundering rules oblige us to retain proof that a check was carried out.
• Completed peer-to-peer trades, because the record is shared with the person on the other side and is their evidence as well as yours. Your name is removed from it.
• Security logs for a limited period, to investigate fraud and account takeover.

Nothing in this list is used to contact you or to build a profile of you after your account is gone.

5. Before you delete

• Finish any open trades. An account with a trade in progress cannot be deleted until it is settled or cancelled, because somebody else is waiting on it.
• Export anything you want to keep. Tax reports and portfolio history cannot be recovered afterwards.
• Cancel an active subscription first if you do not want it to renew. Deleting the account does not automatically refund an unused period.

6. Deleting is permanent

Once the 7 day pause has passed and deletion runs, it cannot be undone. Signing up again later creates a new, empty account; none of the old data comes back.
